SonicWave Voice Server
|
|
| |
The SonicWave Voice Server is an open, scalable and integrated platform for deploying web-based voice and speech applications in the enterprise. It allows people to access information and take action anywhere, anytime from any telephone instrument. The SonicWave Voice Server uses industry standard VoiceXML to partition the telephone and speech interface functionality from the application logic.

VoIP & TAPI Telephony Interfaces
SonicWave Server supports H323 VoIP interfaces with integrated Gatekeeper and external media gateways to provide a software-based solution for the enterprise's voice applications. For applications that need direct access to the PSTN, the SonicWave Voice Sever utilizes the Windows standard TAPI to support ISDN, T-1/PRI and analog lines.

SAPI for Speech Interface
The Windows SAPI (Speech Application Programming Interface) is used by SonicWave to allow a number of Text-to-Speech and Voice Recognition engines to be plugged-in based on the cost and functionally criteria. As a system user you are not locked into a particular vendors technology.

Integrated Web-based O&M
Integrated with every SonicWave Voice Server is a complete web-based OA&M (Operations, Administration, & Maintenance) suite to easily enable the deployment and administration of the Voice Web services. SonicWave allows enterprises or contacts centers to quickly and easily deploy their voice-driven applications. Systems can be monitored from a Web page, and clicking on the graphical display easily checks system status. The administrative interfaces allow the routing of calls to voice applications based on called numbers and caller parameters to support a family of voice applications through one gateway.
