  • Web-based User Interface for setting up conferences and for administration
  • Integrated Multi-modal Conferences provides support for all the enterprise conference needs - from ad-hoc, meet-me and scheduled dialout conferences.
  • Audio and Video Conferencing supports mixed media conferences that can be small ad-hoc meetings or large-scale enterprise wide sessions.
  • Integrated Recording allows conference originators to automatically record session information for archival and transcription purposes.
  • Complete Conferencing Solution as it is packaged with web-based administration, Voice-XML based IVR function, iConnect CallServer, SQL database and optional PSTN interface gateways.

Enterprise Level Scalability with Distributed Architecture
Multiple iCollabra Conference Servers can be installed on different physical machines to provide an enterprise with the required conferencing capacity. Each physical machine can support up to a maximum number of audio or video streams depending on its processing capacity. Enterprises can setup as many conference servers as they require. The iConnect CallServer and the Meet-Me CallDirector route the conference participants to the appropriate conference server. This architecture provides customers with reliability through redundancy and ability to growth their system incrementally.

Leverages Existing Infrastructure with Open Interfaces
iCollabra Conferencing Solution leverages the existing networking infrastructure already in place in organizations. It is a software service that utilizes open standard VoIP interfaces to allow interoperability with the existing telephone system and the network infrastructure. iCollabra services can be accessed over a web-browser interface or from any telephone. iCollabra uses standard gateways to interface to the PSTN network and VoIP to connect to IP-PBXs and IP-Phones.

Web-based Access to Conferencing
Both the administration of the iCollabra system and the user conference access and setup can be performed from standard web browsers from any desktop. Users can join conferences by clicking on a link in their email conference notification message or from the web-browser. All administrative functions are performed from the web including monitoring the status of conference servers and sessions etc.

Integrated Multi-Modal Conferencing
The iCollabra Conferencing solution support multiple conferencing modes to provide the customers with flexibility and ease of conferencing. These modes include the following:

Ad-Hoc Conferencing
Ad-Hoc conferencing allows users to dynamically bring parties into conferences as the need arises. These conferences can be initiated from a telephone call or from the web-browser. Users can transfer a call into the bridge and add parties into the conference or they can initiate the conferences directly from the browser by dialing out to the parties.

Meet-Me Conferencing
Meet-Me Conferences are scheduled from simple web browser interface. Users can enter the participants contact information from their directories or phonebooks; select the desired time and the conference server will automatically notify all participants via e-mail. The participants can dial into the conference through the IVR interface to authenticate and route them to their conference session.

Dial-out Conferencing
The Dial-out conference is similar to the Meet-Me except that the conference server calls the participants and brings them into the conference.

iCollabra Videoconference
iCollabra Videoconferencing uses the linear conferencing model to host videoconferences that can be few participants to massively scalable organization-wide videoconferences. There may multiple video and audio inputs into the conference and unlimited view-only participants. iCollabra Videoconferencing provides a very cost effective solution for organizational communication, remote video-based meetings, and security monitoring applications.

iCollabra uses standard H323 protocols to support and inter-work with a range of third party endpoints as well as the CallComm Video Communication Devices.

Integrated Recording
When a conference is setup or during a conference session, the conference originator can select the recording option. The session information is automatically recorded and saved in a highly compresses format on the server. The recordings can be accessed through a web browser interface for playback or distribution via e-mail. The recordings can also be annotated with keywords and notes to facilitate archival and efficient searching.
